When talking about implementing adhesives into a manufacturing process, one question often comes up: will it slow down the process? People get concerned how potentially messy the application of adhesives can be, how long it might take to apply it precisely where accuracy is important and finally, how long the curing time may be.

Well, thankfully, these things don’t necessarily have to depend on people. People invent and make machines to make their lives easier. So with the same purpose in mind, different types and models of Loctite dispensing and curing equipment have been developed. This equipment can be integrated into existing manufacturing lines and programed to dispense precise amounts of adhesive every time, exactly to the desired spot – something humans can only dream of doing manually. This will also secure that the adhesive consumption is not higher than needed and that waste is avoided.

There are also devices that will help you cure your adhesive faster and enable you to continue your manufacturing process without delays.

Some of them can be seen in this video.

Nowadays, automatically dispensed adhesive can be a part of numerous production processes – from massive machinery to strollers and safety seats for our children. But they also play a role in creation of modern art.

  1. I’m not sure why but this blog is loading incredibly slow for me. Is anyone else having this issue or is it a issue on my end? I’ll check back later on and see if the problem still exists.

    • Thanks so much! Actually, I haven’t been blogging for long at all, but got some tips from a colleague who’s a bit more experienced with it. And the platform itself does help a lot with the layout. Hope you come back and find the content useful, too.
